2/1/2012 - Lady Roadrunners 71, Panola 63 The longest shot Brittney Jefferson had to take in piling up a 32-point night was 15 feet away. Those were free throws. The sophomore from Leggett drove past defenders all night long, hitting layup after layup to post her season high and lead the Lady Roadrunners to a 71-63 win over the Fillies in Carthage. For added measure, Jefferson tossed in eight of her nine free-throw attempts, including the game-sealers over the final moments after Panola had cut a double-digit AC lead down to six points. Diamond Webb was busy for the Lady ‘Runners as well, finishing with 20 points that included a trio of three pointers. Carlisha Wyatt added 13 points and seven rebounds. The Fillies (6-10, 1-8) got 25 points from Oditte Odisho and 14 from Catarina Jones. The Lady Roadrunners (10-12, 6-5) get the weekend off before traveling to Tyler on Wednesday. That game tips off at 5:30 p.m.
