Committee Chair

Monica Peters is the Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness and QEP for Angelina College. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Dillard University, a M.S. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette (formerly known as University of Southwestern Louisiana) and a Ph.D. in Special Education/Mild Moderate Impairments with a specialization in Emotional/Behavioral Disorders from Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge.

 

Sabrina Collins has been a full-time speech instructor for Angelina College since 1999. She has a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications and Behavioral Sciences from East Texas Baptist University and a master's degree in Speech Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

Marianna Duncan teaches Developmental English, Freshman Composition, and Technical Writing in the Liberal Arts Department. She earned a B.A. in journalism and English at Trinity University in San Antonio and an M.A. in English at Stephen F. Austin.

 

Dr. Sally Haas is an instructor in the Science and Mathematics Division. She earned her B. S. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and a M.S. from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Dr. Laura Hebert is the Division Director for Liberal Arts at Angelina College. She earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Baylor University. 

 

 

Sellestine Collins Hunt is the Director of Testing and Student Development for Angelina College. She earned a B.A.T degree in Physical Education and English from Sam Houston State University, a M.Ed. in Counseling and Education from Texas Southern University and post graduate studies at Texas A & M University.

Saundra May is an instructor in the Business Division. She earned an A.A.S. from Angelina College, a B.A.A.S. and M.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

Jayne McCurry is an instructor in the Technology and Workforce Division. She earned a B.A. from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

 

Diana Throckmorton is the senior English faculty at Angelina College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French with a minor in Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Master of Arts in English with a minor in French from Stephen F. Austin State University, and has continued her education with graduate classes in a variety of literature including African American Women's Literature, British satire, and Irish drama.

 

Angie L. Wilcox is the Radiography Program Coordinator at Angelina College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in radiological science from Midwestern State University and a master’s degree in education from Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

Faculty Learning Community 1 – “The Pilots”

 

Alysa Bass has been a full-time nursing instructor for Angelina College since 2004.  She received her BSN from Stephen F. Austin State University and her MSN from Texas Christian University. 

Edith Miller has been an instructor at Angelina College since 1991. She earned a B.A. at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, and an M.A. at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Ms. Miller teaches English.

 

Keith New is an instructor in the Business Division.  He earned his B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University and a M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.

 

Burlon Wilkerson has been a full-time instructor at Angelina College since 2001, teaching Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a Master's degree in Public Address from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Occie Cluff is an instructor in the Business Division.  She earned her B.A. from Prairie View A&M University and a M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University.


 
Beckie Compton is an instructor in the Fine Arts Division.  She earned her B.M. and M.M. from Stephen F. Austin State University.


 
Marilyn Craig is the Clinical Coordinator for Respiratory Care in the Health Careers Division. She earned her B.G.S. from Lamar University and her M.H.A. from California College for Health Sciences.


 
Tom Dudley is an instructor in the Science and Mathematics Division.  He earned his B. S. and M.S. degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University.


 
Debbie Jenke is an instructor in the Liberal Arts Division.  She earned her A.A.S. from Angelina College, and a B.A.T. and M.A. from Sam Houston State University.


 
Vicky Milstead is an instructor in the Technology and Workforce Division.  She earned her B. S. and M.Ed. from Stephen F. Austin State University.
