Notice of Student Acceptance for Associate Degree Nursing Program,
Class of 2012-2014:
PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS. This information is given to assist you in your transition from applicant to nursing student. The students who are accepted have been listed by the AC student ID number in the boxes below this memo. Your acceptance is contingent on completion and submission of a clear background check, negative urine drug screen, completed health form, and CPR card from American Heart Association (Health Care Provider). If you cannot be in attendance on August 22-24th for registration and orientation camp, you must notify me immediately.

The first regular day of class is Monday, August 27th at 8:30 in room 101, Health Careers Building. Congratulations welcome to a great experience in the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Angelina College.
See the link to the attachments to complete your background check and download your health requirement form, lab results and CPR cards. THIS is VERY IMPORTANT. Please follow instructions exactly.
Drug screen (instructions to be given at the orientation session): you must use the Angelina College vendor for the drug screen. Have $40.00 available at all times to pay for the drug screen. Your name will be chosen randomly for your appointment.

Registration for classes is at regular registration on August 22nd. Registration for classes on August 22nd will be divided into two groups. If your last name starts will A through J, you will come between 8:30 and 11:30 to register, purchase books and uniforms. If your last name starts with K thorough W, you will come from 1:00 to 4:00. You must be prepared to pay for tuition and books on that day. Come to the Health Careers Building to start the process. If it can be arranged you will come to Room 101 at 11:30 to 1:00 to meet the Book representative from Evolve to explain the use of the web online aspects of your package of books.

Attendance at the mandatory orientation session on August 23 and August 24, 2012. These orientation sessions will be held in Room 101 of the Health Careers Building (new building) from 8:30-4:00 on both days. At the end of the second day, August 24th we invite your family to come and have refreshments and tour the new building. More Information will be given to you on the first day of Orientation.

--If previously had MMR and Hepatitis Series show results of titers
--Upload completed and signed Part II (2 pages) of Required Health Form
