Registration is currently underway for Angelina College’s first winter mini-mester. Classes begin Dec. 18 and will last three or four weeks, depending on the course. All courses are offered online.
“Angelina College chose to offer winter mini-mester courses to meet the needs of students, by providing additional options to help them move forward as they strive to reach their educational goals. These courses are designed for students who are wanting to get a jump start on spring classes; for students who are coming home from universities during the holidays and wish to take a course to transfer back to their home university; for students who need to take a prerequisite course; for those students retaking a course; and for those who thrive in a time-compressed, rigorous educational setting,” said Dr. Cynthia Casparis, vice president of Academic Affairs.
Courses offered include Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Compositon I & II, U.S. History, American Jazz Music, Life Span/Growth and Development, Dosage Calculations and Interpersonal Communication.
