Orientation to various indexes and register, medical ethics and legal aspects of medical records. To include statistics, quality assurance, and risk management. Discuss the requirements of accrediting agencies. 

Class meets at a local facility with hands on teaching and activities for students to learn medical records procedures. Textbook required.
