Federal and Texas Work Study

Through cooperative funding between the Federal and State Governments and Angelina College, the college is able to provide employment for students on campus while they attend school.

During the school year, part-time employment, not to exceed an average of fifteen (15) hours per week, is offered to students who show financial need. When classes are not in session, qualified students may work up to thirty-five hours per week.

To qualify for such employment, students must be enrolled or must be accepted for enrollment in the following semester, must maintain good academic standing and must show financial need.

Students accepted for employment in this program may be assigned some activity under the college jurisdiction. Types of jobs offered include clerical, library assistant, grounds keeper and laboratory assistant.
