based on G.P.A. of prerequisite courses. (You may repeat a course only
once to improve the grade. The last time it is taken will be the grade
used for the G.P.A.)

How do I sign up to take the Dosage Calculations Examination for the Lufkin-ADN
program?
The dosage calculations examination can only
be taken after successful completion of RNSG 1208 with a "C" or better.
The final exam in RNSG 1208 is the first chance to complete the dosage
calculation.

What is the NET and how do I sign up to take the test?
The NET is a practical or vocational
nursing aptitude test given for the Vocational Programs at Angelina
College. Testing
appointments are scheduled after attending information sessions. The cost of
the test is $20.00 payable to "Angelina College" by check or money order at the
time of the test. The registration procedure will be given out at the
information sessions.
How do I get the results of the
NET?
The results of the NET can be obtained
immediately after the examination is completed.
How do I get the
results of the Dosage Calculations Examination?
Scores are available upon completion of the
exam. The exam is given by computer or using paper/pencils. A minimum score of 90% is required to
pass the examination. Test questions differ on each test but the format remains the same. Dosage
calculation results are good for only two years

The information session
provides an overview of the nursing program. In the session the student
will:

questions attendees may have. The information session is part of the
application process and must be attended to obtain application to the
nursing program.
How do I sign up to attend the
information session?
To attend the Associate Degree Nursing Program
session you must bring or mail proof of THEA scores or exemption status.
