POSITION: Part-Time Instructor of Developmental Mathematics

EMPLOYMENT DATE: Summer 2010

LOCATIONS: Nacogdoches (mornings)

QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with (1) experience in teaching developmental-level mathematics at the community college or public school level; and (2) six or more graduate hours in mathematics or related field.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach developmental mathematics in class and lab. Assist the developmental mathematics coordinator in the administration of the developmental mathematics program. Perform such other duties as assigned by the director of the Science and Mathematics Division.

CONTRACT & SALARY: Salary based on Angelina College salary schedule commensurate with education and experience. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
