POSITION: Part-Time Instructor of Electronics (CISCO Academy)

EMPLOYMENT DATE: Fall 2011

LOCATION/TIMES: Lufkin (main campus)

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements: An Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology and CISCO® instructor certification. Five years work experience applying electronics theory to include but not limited to one or more of the following areas: computer hardware and networking, communications, research and design, control systems, manufacturing, aviation, medical services, missiles and space. Must have excellent English communication skills both written and oral. Preference will be given to those individuals with teaching experience in a community college. Will consider a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach basic and advanced electronics classes in the Electronics Technology program including CISCO® curriculum . Assignment will include afternoon and evening classes.
