POSITION: Part-Time Instructor of English

EMPLOYMENT DATE: Spring 2010

QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in English required. Preference will be given to individuals with at least two years full-time college teaching experience. Must possess the ability to interact with a diverse student population. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach freshman and sophomore English courses including developmental writing class with laboratory element. Perform other duties as assigned. This position will report to the Director of Liberal Arts Division for teaching responsibilities and other college related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual.

EXPECTATIONS: A letter of interest, completed application form, a resume, and college transcripts are required for an applicant to be considered. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate. Salary as defined for part-time.
