Applications will be accepted in the Angelina College Human Resources Office for the position of Technology Support Technician until the position is filled.

Under the direction of the Management Information Systems Director, the technician will support computer technology in assigned areas on and off campus; assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network connectivity campus-wide; assist faculty and staff in designated area; participate in registration process as necessary; perform assigned tasks to assist in hardware and software procurement; and other duties as assigned. An associate degree in Computer Information Technology, Data Processing, or Computer Science is required. Preference will be given to additional certification(s) in PC repair or network installation and management. Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems and office software. Aptitude in installing software, trouble shooting computer systems, and installing basic computer parts such as hard drives, RAM, etc. and familiarity with scanners, DVD burners, and related technology are also required. Must be able to work 40 hours per week during normal operating hours and additional hours as approved.

Must possess ability to interact with instructors, students, and other technicians.
