ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

POSITION:
Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services

EMPLOYMENT DATE: Late Spring or Early Summer 2008

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree, doctorate preferred, and a minimum three years of experience in admissions, advising, student services or related experience required. Must have outstanding management, communication and interpersonal skills in leadership roles. Must have record of student advocacy and the ability to relate well to diverse constituencies. Must possess computer skills and ability to analyze and use data in decision making.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director is responsible for the supervision and implementation of all processes relating to the admissions and enrollment of students including recruitment, coordination of admissions, residency determination, and student orientation. Responsibilities also include office personnel, budget, and planning. Coordinates implementation of administrative and faculty policies regarding admissions using the POISE software. Assists with academic advising, orientation, registration and other campus activities. Contributes significantly to the goal of ensuring that operations and systems are both efficient and student-centered. Has direct reporting responsibility for selected processes to the Vice President and Dean of Instruction and others to the President.

CONTRACT & SALARY: Twelve months contract. Competitive salary range in the 50's in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for successful candidate.
