POSITION: Part-Time Machine Tool Technology Instructor – Lufkin


QUALIFICATIONS: Associate of Applied Science required and may be in machine tool technology or manufacturing technology. Documented outstanding professional experiences related to teaching may be considered instead of a degree. All applicants must document a minimum of ten (10) years experience in manual lathe and mill operation, computer numerical control (CNC) operation and programming and computer-aided manufacturing/machining (CAM). Must possess ability to relate to diverse student population.  Excellent oral and written communication skills required. A skills test will be required of all applicants.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach machine tool manufacturing related courses in Machine Tool Technology to include: manual machining, computer numerical control (lathe and mill) with hands on labs. Assignment will include afternoon and or evening classes. The position is administratively responsible to the Associate Dean of Instruction for Technology and Workforce for teaching responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual.

SALARY: Salary assigned according to salary schedule. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
