AC HONORS CLASSIFIED STAFF WITH LUNCHEON

Angelina College on Friday honored several long-standing members of its classified staff with a luncheon held in the Angelina Center for the Arts Gallery.

Members with multiple years of service received their pins honoring their time as members of the campus staff. Those members included Thomas Lane, 25 years; Lois Anderson, 20 years; Cristy Brecheen, Sylvia Ricks, Pat Crager and Audrey Davis, 15 years; Irma Montoya, Suzette Temple, Nanette Reynolds and Richard Bumpus, 10 years; and Myrnia Boyd and R. B.
Spears, five years.

In addition, AC president Dr. Larry Phillips recognized the newest members of the classified staff: Debbie Buchanan, Michelle Brazil, Graciela Escobedo, James Gooch, Lynn Grantham, Lydia Jordan, Christine Moon and Johnny Tindall.

"Holding a luncheon in your honor seems such a small gesture in lieu of everything you do for this college and its students," Phillips told the audience. "Virtually nothing gets accomplished on this campus without your efforts, and we appreciate you much more than we can say."

Larry Greer's Guitar Ensemble provided the luncheon entertainment.
