JOB FAIR SLATED FOR APRIL 17

Angelina College is partnering with KTRE and Workforce Solutions to sponsor a Spring 2008 Job Fair. The event will be held in the Activity Center on Thursday, April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are expecting over 50 employers coming from our 12-county coverage area. Tables will be set up on the gym floor and around the concourse. KTRE will be providing the advertising and we expect the word to start getting out to the surrounding counties around Spring Break. At that time, we will begin posting flyers in the classrooms and posting large signs across campus.

Please help spread the word to your students about the job fair. Even students who are not yet ready to begin their job search would benefit from this experience. They will see that jobs do exist in their major field and will learn about job requirements and pay scales. This is also a good lesson in learning how to present oneself professionally and preparing a resume.
