Visual Arts Majors will exhibit their works in the Angelina Center for
the Arts Gallery this semester From Nov. 19 until Dec. 7. There will be
a public reception on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The work of students in Robbie Roach’s printmaking class and Corinne
Jones’ students in basic drawing and basic design classes will be shown
in this exhibit.
Printmaking students will exhibit linocuts, woodcuts, etchings and book
arts. The book arts is a relatively new art form that has taken

actual book form unusual and pertinent to the message he or she wishes
to convey.
Basic drawing students will exhibit Drawings of various media and
subject matter, including still life, perspective, and chiaroscuro.
Basic design students will exhibit collage designs, paintings and other
media relating to specific design problems.
