Angelina College Gallery Presenting Annual Art Faculty Exhibition

The Angelina College Gallery will present its annual Art Faculty Exhibition to open the 2011-2012 Fine Arts season beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and running through Sept. 28 in the Angelina Center for the Arts gallery located on the AC campus.

The AC Art faculty will exhibit photography, drawing, painting and other media. University and college tradition demands that the resident faculty members in Art display their works in exhibition at the beginning of each season.

Represented in this exhibition will be the Visual Arts and Graphic Arts faculty, both full-time and adjunct. Jan Anderson-Paxson and Robbie Roach will exhibit photography. Reg Reynolds has often contributed installation pieces, as well as digital artworks.

Adjunct faculty artists include Ann Phifer Reyes, Linda Pinkston, Richard Carnley, Steve Paul and Shelbye Specht. Reyes will display paintings, while Carnley will display mezzotints.

A public reception will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 6-7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
