Spanish Club Elects New Officers

The Spanish Club at Angelina College has released the names of its newly elected officers for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Ivan Meza (President), Orlando Concha (Vice President), Lizette Guerrero (Secretary) and Marci Cabrera (Treasurer) will lead the club in its various activities. AC’s Spanish Club has been involved in both community events – such as last year’s fundraiser for Hurricane Ike victims in southeast Texas – and campus events, such as the upcoming tamale luncheon in support of Hispanic Heritage month.

Dr. Odelia Leal-McBride, Spanish instructor at Angelina College, is the club sponsor.
