  • Basic Electronic Theory
  • Advanced Electronics
  • Cisco Networking
  • Computer Maintenance

Training for electronics technicians must include work in mathematics, science, communications skills, the study of mechanisms, industrial control circuits, and other associated subjects. Previous high school courses in electronics are not necessary to be successful in the program.

Accreditation Statement
The Electronics Technology program at Angelina College is accredited by the Texas Higher Education Board and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Technology
Computers and electronic instruments are used in two labs. Lecture rooms are located in the Technology & Workforce Development Center.

Job Opportunities & Placement
Graduates are employed in many industries such as forest products, defense, medical, communications, and government. Electronic technicians' jobs include medical equipment, plant maintenance, aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, and research. Networking technicians trained in electronics serve in a wide range of jobs.
