WELDING TECHNOLOGY

The two-year welding curriculum is designed to provide sufficient skill and training in basic welding and cutting processes. These basic skills prepare a person for entry-level employment as a welder in industry.

Welding skills are required in the fabrication and construction of metal products and structures, and in the maintenance and repair of these products and structures.

The program emphasizes opportunities for the students to gain practical drawings and properties of various metals.

Accreditation Statement
The Welding Technology program at Angelina College is accredited by the Texas Higher Education Board and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
