Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

All ASE certification tests are written to measure technicians knowledge of diagnostic and repair skills necessary for competent job performance.

Test questions are written by a panel of technical service experts from vehicle manufacturers, repair and test equipment and parts manufacturers, plus technicians and educators.

All tests are scored by ACT, a non-profit corporation engaged in test development and administration, and in educational and vocational research.

Registration booklets, containing test dates, test series, and registration fees may be obtained from  ACT, local area auto dealer-ships or Angelina College's testing center.
