Former AC Law Enforcement Cadet Credited with Saving Life

            Clayton Lozano, who graduated the Angelina College Law Enforcement Academy this past December recently was credited with providing life-saving measures – on Lozano’s first day on the job with the Lufkin Police Department.

            Reports state Lozano was the first responder for an incident involving a man struck by celebratory gunfire on New Year’s Eve. According to the report, Lozano provided chest compressions until a medical crew arrived on the scene.

            Lozano was the Class 114 valedictorian.
