Angelina College – Polk County Center

Angelina College has a space in Livingston, Texas, that offers various opportunities for the local community ranging from high schoolers to retirees.  AC hosts dual credit classes that serve Livingston ISD while offering Government, History, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Drama, Speech, and Spanish. The center also offers Law Enforcement training, GED/HSE tutoring, and testing services. 

WorkForce Solutions

Angelina College is partnering with WorkForce Solutions of Deep East Texas to offer assistance to students through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA is a federally-funded program designed to minimize the impact of job loss and to create a pathway for job seekers to obtain employment. WIOA services are aimed to increase employment retention, earnings, and occupational skills attainment for adult and dislocated workers. A representative from WorkForce Solutions will be at the Polk County Center on the second Thursday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm. Now is the time to invest in yourself!
