Event: Words without Borders: Read, Speak, Celebrate

Details: April 23rd is Spanish Language Day, English Language Day, and World Book Day.

We will be celebrating with the following events:

Book Exchange: Bring a book (or several) that you’ve enjoyed and trade it for a book loved by someone else. Leave a note for the next reader about what makes each book so special.

Word Games: Play word games in English and Spanish, such as Scrabble, Boggle, Taboo, Mad Libs, Scattergories, and Mad Gab.

Spoken-Word Performances: Read a favorite passage or poem in English or Spanish. Share your own work or work by other authors.

Word Art: Share your favorite words in English or Spanish to contribute to a collaborative art piece.
