Join the fun at Angelina College's recreational camps - explore nature, learn new skills, and make memories. Sports camps are also available for athletes of all levels, with expert coaching and top-notch facilities. Register now for a summer to remember!

Recreation Camp 2024

AGES: K – 5th 

DATES:

  • Session 1: 6/3 – 6/6
  • Session 2: 6/10 – 6/13
  • No camp the week of 6/17
  • Session 3: 6/24 – 6/27
  • No camp the week of 7/1
  • Session 4: 7/8 – 7/11
  • Session 5: 7/15 – 7/18
  • Session 6: 7/22 – 7/25

TIMES:

  • Camp Session: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Drop Off: 8:00 am – 8:30 am
  • Pick Up: 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm

COST: 

  • Full Week Camp Roadrunner: $150
  • Multi-week discount: 25% (use code: MULTIWEEK)
  • Sibling discount: 25% (use code: SIBLINGS)
  • Codes cannot be combined
  • Early Bird Registration opens December 11, 2023

Recreation Camp Q&A

Age Groups

Recreational Campers will be split into two groups:

  • Ages 5-7
  • Ages 8-11

Session Times

Sessions take place Monday through Thursday. Pickup and drop-off will take place at the same designated location daily. Parents/Guardians can refer to the guide for additional information.

Early drop off is not available at this time.

To provide you with an understanding of what Camp Roadrunner entails for your child, we have prepared a detailed schedule. It will outline the various activities and their respective timings, giving you a glimpse into the exciting journey your child will embark upon during their time with us.

9:20 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. Activity 1
10:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Snack Time/Free Time
10:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Activity 2
12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Movie Time
1:10 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Activity 3
2:10 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Activity 4
3:10 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. Camp Wrap Up/Prepare for Pick Up
4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Pick up begins/ends

Snacks & Lunch

Recreational: A snack will be provided during both the morning and afternoon session. If your camper attends both morning and afternoon sessions, a supervised lunch will be provided between 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. You can pack a lunch for your child or you can purchase the
$25 add-on for their lunch when registering. This lunch option will only cover Monday – Wednesday and Thursday is Pizza day covered by Angelina College.

Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed, but can be requested for full-day Recreational Camps. All refunds require approval from Camp Roadrunner administrative staff and should be submitted no later than the Wednesday before the start date of camp.

Athletic Camps

HALF DAY ATHLETIC CAMP
Athletic camps and clinics offer a wide range of instruction for both boys and girls. Our camps offer the participants an opportunity to be coached by some of the finest collegiate coaches in the nation.
Athletic sessions can be combined with a half day of Recreation Camp for K-5th grade only. The half day add-on will be available upon check-out.

HALF DAY CAREER EXPLORATION CAMP
Find My Future is a dynamic summer camp at Angelina College for incoming 6 - 8th graders. This camp offers an immersive and interactive experience where campers can explore various professions in demand in our region, discover their passions and pave the way for their future careers.
