President: Arwyn Woltz
Born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, Arwyn Woltz is a sophomore majoring in General Studies at AC. With a deep passion for politics, leadership, and advocacy, she plans to continue her education in Political Science. Having previously served as SGA Vice President, she gained valuable experience in student leadership and campus initiatives. Now, as SGA President, Arwyn strives to foster communication between students and administration, support her peers, and enhance student life on campus. She looks forward to building a stronger, more inclusive campus community.
Arwyn’s favorite thing about AC is how personable the faculty and staff are. There’s always someone ready to help and countless resources available to support students. She feels that the supportive environment at AC makes it easier for students to grow and feel like they truly belong. Her advice to students is to reach out when needed and find their community—whether through clubs, organizations, or simply spending time with fellow students in Student Affairs.
Vice-President: Bridget Heiny
Bridget graduated from Eustace, Texas. This is her first year at Angelina College, and she is majoring in Radiology. She plans to possibly transition to Orthopedics in the future.
Bridget’s favorite thing about AC is how much the faculty cares about the students and their success. Her advice to future students attending AC is to get involved and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it—there are so many people around you cheering you on through college. Bridget joined SGA to help make student life easier and more fun.
Secretary: Daniel Oakes
Daniel Oakes is a sophomore majoring in Engineering, and this is his second year serving as Secretary for SGA. Born and raised mostly in the U.S., he was privileged to graduate from an international high school in Cameroon. This experience fostered in him an interest in community service as well as a love of language.
His favorite thing about AC is the excellent teaching and small class sizes. Daniel finds interaction with teachers and students much easier in the community college atmosphere and loves Angelina for it. Although Daniel tends to be rather shy, he always tries to be friendly to everyone he meets. He enjoys preparing SGA’s documents and looks forward to another year of service.
Treasurer: Arieyonna Jenkins
Arieyonna Jenkins, a dedicated freshman from Crockett, Texas, is currently pursuing General Studies with a concentration in Psychology at Angelina College.
Jenkins brings valuable financial experience to her role, having helped oversee funds for her church’s youth group. This experience strengthened her sense of responsibility and attention to detail in money management.
As the SGA Treasurer, Jenkins is focused on using these skills to manage student resources with integrity, transparency, and efficiency. She works closely with fellow SGA members to support initiatives that reflect the needs of the student body—from budgeting for events to evaluating funding proposals.
Jenkins deeply values the welcoming and inclusive environment at Angelina College and encourages all students to get involved on campus. She believes that participating in clubs, events, and leadership opportunities not only enhances the college experience but also fosters personal and professional growth.
Parliamentarian: Andrew Hubbard
Andrew (Drew) Hubbard, from Sugar Land, Texas, is a sophomore studying Finance at Angelina College. As the Parliamentarian for SGA, he is dedicated to abiding by, enforcing, and upholding the Student Government Association’s bylaws and constitution.
Andrew’s favorite thing about Angelina College is the dedication of professors and faculty to providing services and creating an environment conducive to learning and growth. He especially values the free tutoring, Student Affairs office, and the reliability of faculty who guide students toward success.
His advice to students? Make use of every possible tool Angelina provides to help you excel in your studies—Rome wasn’t built in a day or by one person. There’s no such thing as too much support.
