2026 Nominations Open

Angelina College would like to give all of you an opportunity to show your appreciation for outstanding faculty, staff, and specific areas on campus. Nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2026, for the 2025–2026 academic year. Winners will be recognized during the Fall 2026 Awards Luncheon. Nominations are accepted from AC employees and students only. You must be logged into your AC Gmail account to access the Google Forms.

Faculty Awards Nomination Forms:

The AC Way Faculty Award

Recognizes outstanding achievements by a faculty member that demonstrates the important role faculty have at Angelina College. It is awarded to a faculty member that champions the mission, vision, and values of Angelina College by exemplifying the AC Way in their daily work.

Adjunct Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence

Recognizes outstanding achievements by an adjunct faculty member that demonstrates the important role adjunct faculty have at Angelina College. It is awarded to a part-time faculty member that exemplifies the highest quality for the teaching and mentorship of students.

Distinguished Faculty Award

Is a special honor bestowed on an active faculty member in recognition of an extended period of service that shall be marked by exemplary contributions to the college community. These contributions may take the form of teaching, service, field-specific recognition, and/or community involvement.

Faculty Excellence in Service

Recognizes full-time faculty who show exemplary and sustained leadership in service activities to the campus. Service can include leadership responsibilities, committee work, editorial boards, conference organization, or other activities that have positively impacted Angelina College’s academic and/or community environment.

Outstanding Teaching Award

Honors a full-time faculty member in a teaching position that has established a consistent pattern of excellence in the classroom and recognizes the highest quality of teaching achievement at Angelina College.

Outstanding Program, Department, or Discipline Award

The Outstanding Program, Department, or Discipline Award honors exemplary areas at Angelina College. The award highlights those areas that demonstrate tangible achievements, innovation, and excellent service to Angelina College.

Staff Awards Nomination Forms;

The AC Way Staff Award

A special honor bestowed on a staff member who has shown the ability to champion the mission, vision, and values of Angelina College by exemplifying the AC Way in their daily work.

Distinguished Staff Member of the Year

A special honor bestowed on a staff member who has shown the ability to lead and create a positive, supportive, and motivating work environment. This person consistently makes a positive impact through contribution and commitment to the college’s core purpose and values.

Staff Leadership Award

Presented to a staff member who leads others, whether in a formal or informal leadership position, and displays leadership qualities, including exceptional communication, problem-solving, integrity, and a desire to help others succeed.

Staff Rookie Award

Presented to a recently hired staff member (three years of service or less) who has quickly asserted themselves as passionate, effective, and a go-getter in their respective area.

Staff Spirit Award

Presented to a staff member who is the “cheerleader” of their office or work area and consistently exhibits a positive attitude, initiative, and a can-do outlook as they generously serve faculty, students, and their colleagues.
