This degree is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree.
The articulated bachelor’s degree focus areas are natural resources, environmental quality, food, biological systems, bioseparations, renewable energy, machine systems, and post-harvest processing.

The school of Science and Mathematics has developed two articulation agreements with Texas A&M University (TAMU) in Agriculture Systems Management and Biological and Agricultural Engineering. However, the degree plan will fit the first two years of most engineering degrees at a four-year institution.
