Free fitness and wellness opportunities for our campus and community.
Angelina College offers free outdoor fitness and recreation spaces for students and the community to enjoy. Take a walk between classes, get in a workout, or spend some time outdoors. Our campus provides convenient ways to stay active, get outside, and enjoy the fresh air.
Fitness Court
Our new outdoor Fitness Court provides a free, accessible space for strength, cardio, and bodyweight exercise.
This Fitness Court® was developed by Angelina College, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, and National Fitness Campaign to expand free access to high-quality workouts and create equitable access to exercise for communities across the region.
What to Know

- Located on the Angelina College campus (behind the ACA building)
AC Forest Fitness Trail
Enjoy a walk, run, or time outdoors along our wooded nature trail.
Improvements to the trail made possible with support from A Texas Hardwood, LLC, West Fraser Angelina Lumber, Doman Lumber and High Roller Logistics.
What to Know
- Free and open to the public
- Just over one mile (1.06-mile loop)
- More than 50 native trees and plants identified along the trail
- Trailhead and gazebo located behind the Activity Center
- Loops through the wooded area between the Activity Center and Hurricane Creek
