Meet the 2026-27 Student Government Association Officers
Angelina College is pleased to introduce the Student Government Association (SGA) officers for the 2026 – 2027 academic year. Meet the students who will represent and serve the AC student body this year.
Bridget Heiny, President

My name is Bridget Heiny. This is my second year at Angelina College and I’m going for radiology tech.
Last year I was the vice president of SGA, I got to learn a lot about how it works and the different ways we can help people. This. year as president I plan to increase the impact we have on students and in the community. I would like SGA to be more well known as an organization that students can come to when they feel their voices aren’t being heard. With the support of our officers, members, students, and community, this year could be great! My main goal is to help students succeed and build strong connections in the community.
Eduardo Flores, Vice-President

My name is Eduardo Flores, but many know me as Eddy. I’m honored to serve Angelina College as a committed and passionate student leader. I hold an Associate’s degree in Health Science and am currently advancing in the Surgical Technology Program, where I proudly serve as Class of 2027 President. I also serve as President of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), promoting academic excellence, service, and leadership throughout our campus. As a first‑generation college student, every achievement represents a milestone not just for me, but for my family and community. I’m driven by connection, involvement, and the desire to make a meaningful impact. My mission is to inspire others, elevate student voices, and help build a campus where every student feels empowered to grow, lead, and succeed. I believe leadership is about showing up, supporting others, and creating opportunities that outlast your time here. Every day, I strive to be the kind of leader who motivates others to dream bigger, step forward, and make their own mark at Angelina College. I’m proud to serve as this year’s SGA Vice President, representing the Student Government Association; the organization dedicated to student advocacy, campus engagement, and strengthening the voice of every Roadrunner.
Zion Lee, Secretary

My name is Zion. I am a Lufkin, Texas, native and a proud high school graduate with a 3.9 GPA. I am currently pursuing my nursing degree at Angelina College, where I am passionate about growing academically, professionally, and as a leader. I joined the Student Government Association (SGA) to stay connected with student life and help make a positive difference for students across our campus.
This year, I am honored to serve as SGA Secretary. In this role, I plan to improve the organization and accessibility of our meeting minutes, ensure students stay informed about new ideas, opportunities, and campus updates, and help make campus life more enjoyable and engaging. My goal is to be a dependable voice for students while contributing to a stronger and more connected Angelina College community.
Arieyonna Jenkins, Treasurer

Arieyonna Jenkins, a dedicated sophomore from Crockett, Texas, is currently pursuing General Studies with a concentration in Psychology at Angelina College.
Jenkins brings valuable financial experience to her role, having helped oversee funds for her church’s youth group. This experience strengthened her sense of responsibility and attention to detail in money management.
As the SGA Treasurer, Jenkins is focused on using these skills to manage student resources with integrity, transparency, and efficiency. She works closely with fellow SGA members to support initiatives that reflect the needs of the student body, from budgeting for events to evaluating funding proposals.
Jenkins deeply values the welcoming and inclusive environment at Angelina College and encourages all students to get involved on campus. She believes that participating in clubs, events, and leadership opportunities not only enhances the college experience but also fosters personal and professional growth.
Leonard Stone, Parliamentarian

I am Leonard Stone, Parliamentarian of the Student Government Association. I am majoring in Psychology, and I was born here in Lufkin, Texas. As parliamentarian I am in charge of ensuring order in our meetings so that everyone’s voice is heard. As a member of the SGA I act as a bridge between the student body and the college as an institution.
