Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Important Update Regarding the Sonography Program at Angelina College (May 2025)

After careful consideration, the College made the difficult decision to close the Sonography program. As a result, we are no longer accepting new applicants.

We are committed to ensuring that all current students in the program are supported through a structured teach-out plan, and they will receive direct communication from the department with guidance on next steps.

We understand this news may be disappointing. If your intended pathway is Sonography, we encourage you to contact Ms. Contessa James, Success Coach at (936) 633-5296, or email her at cjames@angelina.edu to discuss your options and how we can assist you moving forward.

Angelina College offers a wide range of rewarding programs, and we invite you to explore the many opportunities still available to pursue a meaningful career.
