Leadership Lufkin Visits Angelina College

Angelina College was proud to host members of the Leadership Lufkin Class for a campus visit. Participants toured campus and heard about some of the programs and opportunities available to students. The visit offered a chance to highlight how AC supports education and workforce development in our community.

Dr. Roy Guse, a retired orthopedic surgeon, spent Thursday afternoon showing Angelina College Surgical Technology students how an actual surgery looks in a mock procedure staged in the AC Health Careers building. Using instruments recently donated from Zimmer Biomet, the students learned the preparation and procedures required for a successful procedure.
