Diesel and Technology

The purpose of the Diesel Technology Program is to educate and prepare students for entry into various diesel technician positions within the diesel industry. The course of study in this program enables students to develop, refine, and enhance diesel technology skills. Students enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program will receive training and education relative to current industry standards. The students will also benefit from the opportunity to gain real-world experience through a cooperative education course with various local industries, which include Local, State, and Federal entities.

Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology

The Level 1 Certificate in Diesel Technology – Basic and the Level 1 Certificate in Diesel Technology stack into the AAS in Diesel Technology program at Angelina College. 

  • Prerequisites to enter the program as a Level 1 certificate major include a high school diploma or GED. Entrance testing is not required.
  • Students who do not have a high school diploma or GED may co-enroll as Level 1 certificate students and GED students through Adult Education and Literacy at Angelina College (936-633-4525).
  • Students who have a high school diploma or GED may also enter the program as associate degree (AAS) students. TSI entrance scores are required.

At this meeting, you will meet instructors, network with employers, and learn tips for the successful and timely completion of your certificate
