    • Its especially important to wash before eating, touching your face, using the restroom, leaving public places
    • Hand sanitizer will work if you’re unable to wash your hands

    • Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, and other COVID-19 Symptoms.
  • When Sick, Stay home.
    • Except to get medical care!

Vaccine Incentive

As the Fall semester gets underway, the challenge posed by the COVID-19 delta variant remains. As a result, Angelina College is announcing an incentive program to help slow the disease’s spread. Employees who voluntarily disclose that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can receive a one-time payment of $750.

The incentive program is available to all Angelina College full-time faculty and staff, and some part-time staff. All employees who are already vaccinated or become fully vaccinated before December 1, 2021, are eligible to receive the $750 incentive. An employee must show or provide Human Resources a copy of their vaccination card to receive the incentive.

While Angelina College steadfastly supports preventative measures such as mask-wearing and social distancing, COVID-19 vaccinations have been proven to be the single most effective means to help reduce virus transmission and minimize the severe effects associated with breakthrough cases. The College recognizes and supports that the decision to get vaccinated is a personal choice. It is each employee’s individual right to choose if they want to be vaccinated. Therein, the College reiterates that participation in this program is entirely voluntary.
