These credentials prepare students for in-demand jobs as supervisors in retail and manufacturing. Business and Supervision Level 1 Certificate

The Business and Supervision Level 1 certificate is part of the Business and Supervision program at Angelina College. 

  • Prerequisites to enter the program as a Level 1 certificate major include a high school diploma or GED. Entrance testing is not required.
  • Students who do not have a high school diploma or GED may co-enroll as Level 1 certificate students and GED students through Adult Education and Literacy at Angelina College (936-633-4525).
  • Students who have a high school diploma or GED may also enter the program as associate degree (AAS) students. TSI entrance scores are required.

Dr. Esther Campbell

Education:

Biography:
Esther Campbell has held office and retail management positions for the last 15 years. She has been with Angelina College since 2018 and currently serves as the Senior Director of Workforce & Continuing Education. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching Continuing Education, Business, Human Resources, Management, and Marketing courses for Angelina College, since 2020, and Dallas College, since 2015. Research interests include: academic persistence of nontraditional students, student retention, the socio-cultural factors that affect achievement for nontraditional students, and collaborative models across sectors to improve nontraditional student success.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Master of Business Administration from Amberton University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from Liberty University. Her awards include Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Trend Board Competition Winner; The Bestseller award for promoting interns for Barnes & Noble College; and the Ignite award for Barnes & Noble College. She has earned credentials from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) for Promoting Active Learning Online, and the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) for Best Practices for Teaching Online.
